Default Need cheap basic 4L60E stock rebuild near Orlando. (non performance app)

I need a basic 4L60E stock rebuild near Orlando.

I plan on pulling the transmission out. It's not in a performance application. It's a 100% stock 4L60E transmission in my mom's 1998 GMC 4.3 Jimmy 4x4. Looking for someone to drop off the tranny to and have them go through it. 1-2 shift was ok and so is reverse. It basically lost 3rd gear, it just slips and doesn't go. Fluid is burnt and trans has ~135K miles on it.

I'm trying to help my mom out with this. I just need someone to go through it to get it back on the road. Just a basic rebuild only, cost is a big factor on this.

I don't mind traveling a little bit, but trying to stay as close to Orlando as possible.

If anyone can give me any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks
Steve

Thanks, please let me know the details.

But if it's from an F-body or an LS1, I dont think it will fit. I believe the rear of the case is different where the transfer case bolts up. It looks different.

if its froom a camaro it wont work due to the ls series mtors having a larger converter and pump stator as well as deeper bell housing the input shafts are different also due to the difference in design.

Dont feel like buying a junkyard trans for $400 and it last 6 months. Then have to do it all over. The stock trans lasted 135k miles, so just looking to freshen it. This truck has seen zero abuse in its life.
