Don't know about MI but there's an Ace Auto Electric
on US1 in Melbourne. I think you probably won't save
much rebuilding one you own, vs buying a reman.
But, too, alternator problems are not necessarily to
do with the alternator on these cars. Seems to be a
lot of exciter circuit issues. It's worth a closer look
before swapping the alternator out.
