ZR-1's are stupid looking, don't get those, EVERYBODY has them! And if you can find them get them with tires, cause 315's are a pretty penny by themselves.
Oh and I vote for black with a polished lip.

Ben, Reagans car looked awesome going down the track the other night i have a video of it. The track didnt seem to hook to well maybe more cars with skicks was needed. Cant wait to see your beast out soon. Hopefully by the next race I will make some better passes.

Stock I ran a 13.6 @ 105. I think it was a 2.1 60'
With a lid and 315 DR's I ran 9.0 @ 81 . But I think my smoking (literally) clutch had something to do with that.
I have no idea what I will run now. Hopefully my clutch will be in the car Friday afternoon and it'll take me a week or so to get it broken in. Then FINALLY I can see some numbers.

Andrew, you should look into some gears. I'd believe with a cam like the R1 your car is gonna suck to drive with the 2.73. I may be wrong.
Definately something to look into though.

Im Ordering My Jet-hot Lt's Tomorrow, I Will Need Some Help With The Install If Anyone Can Help Me Out. Also Can You Modify The Stock Y Pipe To Fit Lt's---andrew
#554
Andrew, long tubes are a pretty easy install, just time consuming and frustrating. Make sure you get the car as high as possible and have patience. I had to grind some things down a little to get mine to fit.
And long tubes won't fit the stock y-pipe with out some major modification, and some reducers from 3-in to 2.25-in. Its easier to just get an aftermarket one, or have a shop fab one up.
As far as the gears, look into some 3.73's. You'll feel the change much more, also like Ben said definately have someone professional install them. One little mess up and you can ruin alot more than just the gear setup.
Good luck

Sweet Andrew, you will love them. Maybe one of these days, when I have a minute to spare from work, I'll be able to get out and see everyone's cars. I hope to find some time to finish my garage art here in the next century, so I can join you fellas on the road .

Sounds great Andrew. Are you buying a y-pipe or having one made? Everyone's cars are really coming along, well except for Ben's. But he's all talk anyways
I got my Spec 3 in yesterday and I'm driving as much as I can to get past the break-in period. We should all head to the track sometime. I'd like to see what I can do with a proper clutch and some suspension stuff.
On another note, anyone have any reccomondations for rear-ends? I have to get a 12-bolt b/c of my 3 channel. And it has to be 100% streetable since I put so many miles on it. A moser with a HD posi should be fine for my limited track use, I hope. And how hard is it to install if the gears are already set-up?
