i'll be there, got my tent, grill, and plenty of blankets since that freeze might roll through. But I do not have alcohol yet, just a bottle of some flavored vodka for the girlfriend. I have a feeling with my car issues I'll be buying natty light.

I got my new lens for the Canon yesterday. Also am going to dig out the sleeping bag. What time are you going to get in to the infield on Sat? I wanna be in by 6:30.

I'm going friday afternoon, i want to catch the 200 mile GT race. Over 100 cars entered in that race. Everything from Porsche to Hyundai in it too lol.

I am going Friday afternoon also. We are staying at a hotel Friday night and will be setting up first thing Sat morning where ever we find a decent spot in the infield. You can't stay over night in the infield on Friday night. So gotta get there early Sat AM if you are gonna be at the 24hr race.

i did not know that, so i guess ill be there early sat morning too. I doubt I'll be in my car. Will prolly be in the girlfriends Aveo (it's white, so it looks like a huge egg). I can't wait.

You can camp out in a field outside of turn 3/4 less than a mile away. You will see a **** load of cars/vans/trucks/fires/tents/etc out there. It is a crazy party. Be prepared to be up ~5-530AM as they start making their way towards the turn 4 gate. We did that last year, but I am feeling a bed Friday night will benefit me for the weekend.

Last years base camp...I am not passed out in the purple tent. That was before the race even started!

man i can't wait, this will prep me up for sebring. last year i went down to sebring off of my new years resolution (not to drink beer for 3 months) because it had gotten me in some trouble and some other ****. And did this

this is what i usually take to sebring, but i dont know if all that is necessary for me and the girlfriend
id upload more pics but fuelslut.net/hosting doesn't recognize my thing anymore.
But we keep the coolers locked up in the tent because some ******** came and snatched our coolers one year.

Nice setup. The Rolex is tame compared to Sebring. I loved the PVC scaffolding, giant party tents, drunk guys in Togas, manakins in sexual positions and stadium seating complete with couchs in the back of lifted trucks. Rolex is definately good pregameing for March. There might be enough room for one of those tents. I am bringing a tent I picked up last month with me. We can talk Friday about getting setup together Sat am.

I'l be there... gonna drive down to ft. lauderdale to pick up my parents truck to use for the race...
Dodge ram with a topper and my brother upholstered the interior, and made a mattress to sleep on(he used to be ont eh road alot and made it nice to sleep in) Big green 4-door Dodge ram with a topper. Also going to try and snag a like 10' by 10' tent from work as well... might not need the camping tent this year truck might be more comfortable, also drown out a little noise its gets kinda loud towards the ned of the race.
planning to get there fri afternoon, camp out in the field fri night and in the track on saturday.
Its been great I have been working in Port Orange(just south of daytona), and I could hear a race, or practicing going on yesterday from the parking lot. I can't wait I am psyched!
