God damn that be sick! 35 splines in my MWC rear will hold up to anything my pocket book will allow so I'm good on that aspect, lol.

Need to upgrade my rear also. 31 spline here also. 1/2 studs. Lighten steel spool been doing ok. But a bunch of m6 passes. Feel like I should pull them out and check the splines but haven't done it.

Same here, I cringe when I let loose off the trans brake at 15lbs if boost @ 3600, lol.

I honestly think the 35 spline axles in the 12 bolt will be ok. I'm going to a 4.10 pro gearset, I plan to replace them every season as a maintenance thing, housing is braced up really good so I doubt it will be an issue.

If it proves me wrong I will do a new rear but it will be the last one ever done for this car I'll tell you.

Time for a little updating!!
So after the new turbo and cam install i got it retuned and at 21 psi it made 810 around 5800 rpm before we shut it down so we wouldn't kill the weaker gen3 bottom end. Turned it down to 18 psi and it made 740/665 on unleaded 100. Next problem was my catch can would fill up with a lot of oil so after a lot of reading i find out that the valley cover isn't the best for a catch can. So i got a new stock valley cover and put that on and welded my -10 bungs to the valve covers and now i dont get any oil what so ever, only a little condensation so that problem is fixed. So last weekend i was able to make it to the track and car was running great. First pass off the trailer and off the foot brake it went 9.97@149, second pass off the transbrake and 2-step at 3,000 rpm it went 9.18@154, then turned the 2-step to 3500 and leaving on 5 psi it went a personal best of 8.86@156 with a 1.42 60'!

Needless to say i was extremely happy with a solid 8 sec pass when i was WISHING for at least a 8.999, lol. This car has exceeded any expectation iv had for a "garage built" car. Now i have to wait till next year to get out again to tune the suspension more and get that 60' down and better passes.

Thanks man! I don't have the 8.80 pass video yet but here's 2 of the ones that I turned the power up on but couldn't make a clean hit.

It's amazing how a stupid turbo can take a 380hp stock motor to make 800+ and run in the 8 sec range, lol. I added coilovers on the back and took another 10 lbs off the front of the car, nothing crazy but every little bit helps. So if I can cut my 60' down in the 1.2 range I think the car has a 8.5x in it. Now have time wait till nice weather!

Thanks man, eventually after this season I'll pull the motor and have it built and then really turn the boost up! Since everything is built for a million hp, I'm a short block away from really chasing a 7 sec pass! This year will be learning the suspension and getting it to work then I'll add more and more power, until then it's useless if I can't hook what I have now, lol.

7s is a tall drink, but I think your setup is more than capable. Looking forward to your progress. I'm hoping I can break 9s. Lol

Oh I know it's a task but I have the right people in my corner to help out and get me there. It'll be a process getting there but I believe I'll get it. After all the junk I see with sbe motors clicking off a 7 sec pass I don't see why I can't, lol.

Thanks man, glad I kept with it as well, lol. Had I sold it and whoever bought it clicks off mid 8 sec passes I'd be extremely upset and mad! The throttle bracket it a Lokar piece and yes, stock pedal.

Dumb question, but what is the advantage of coilovers on the rear, compared to the factory style shock w/separate coil?

Obviously the ease of adj ride height vs just cutting stock springs and changing the spring rate of them. For me it was to get the adjustability of my ride height and converted to bearing on the top of the mount so it moves more freely. Guys have gone just as fast on stock springs, just for me it was personal preference and a cheap upgrade so that was my minor job this winter, lol.

Heres what iv done over the past week with the coilovers installed. MWC transverse bottom mount and top conversion mount. All went together fairly easy and straight forward.
