Default New intake going on

Just bought a victor jr intake and low pro elbow from edelbrock and some nice fuel rails. Wanted to try something different. Just thought I'd share.

that elbow looks like it's going to be a pretty big restriction.

Up to a 90mm.
About 550.
Lots cheaper than my fast 90 which i bought as combo with 90mm throttle body for a 1,000.
Sold the fast by itself for 600. So I think I made out ok considering the throttle body goes for about 400.

The elbow is not bad in person at all. Just looks small.

Can you get a spacer under the elbow? Looks like its going to need some serious fuel correction to get the motor to run right. You're going to have 2 cylinders that are very lean.

I'm pretty sure thats what the divider is for.

Does it accept a stock throttle body or is an aftermarket throttle body necessary?

I'll find out by this weekend, once I get my y-pipe to stop leaking so I can make boost. (Damn steep store entrances.)

I think that elbow is going to cause some big problems.

1) That is a tight small bend. That is going to be restriction no question about it.
2) The divider thing looks questionable at best. It might be good for NA applications, but as Phil said it is going to cause some serious fueling issues.

Personally I would rethink it.

Meaning what exactly? Still trying to understand forced induction tuning.

By "not work as well as I want it to", do you mean melting a few pistons from being much leaner than the others?

Basically. Need an excuse to buy a short block.

No will only run 5psi to start with the new setup and continue to raise it to 12psi while monitoring it closely.
