need help with IAT sensor
I just got a 97z that has a p600b kit on it. The IAT sensor is not there. It throws the code for it. The elbow is threaded, the sensor that the parts store showed me thats supposed to go in it is not made for a threaded hole. I have the plug in and everthing, just no sensor. I was wondering if someone with similar set up knows what to do? THanks!

got the sensor today, its the right plug, looks like the thread is 1/2" rather then 3/8. Im going to try it, if its too big, would there be anything wrong with an adapter?

So you are saying that the sensor has 1/2" threads and the elbow has 3/8" threads?
The main thing is to insure that the sensor tip gets in the airflow. If the adapter is to long, it will prevent the sensor from being in the airflow, and will provide inaccurate readings.
Your other choice would be to retap the elbow.

thats what i was thinking. I dont know if there would be anything else that requires the same sensor but 3/8" thread? It just had a hollow plastic piece in it, it has the clip for the plug and everything, just nothing inside of it.
