Default Alkycontrol Kit: Denatured Alcohol vs. Methyl Hydrate
Just a question on whether one of these is better than the other, if so, which and why? I have an Alkycontrol kit and I'm just curious to hear what everyone thinks.

First off great kit, the meth is better its cools a little more not much and has a little higher octane.

Straight methanol is far better than denatured alcohol.

call julio and ask him about it. i talked to him when i got the kit and he told me a couple reasons why meth is better, i just dont remeber them off the top of my head.

Talked to Julio and he suggested Methyl Hydrate, found a place locally that sells if for $3/gallon, think I'm good! .

What I got was 99.9% Methanol, the place is a distributor for VP Racing fuel.
