3" from the collectos to the turbo. Ron has been talking about making a 2 1/2 for me to test. It may perform better the way I am currently setup but later with a bigger turbo and solid roller moving alot more exhaust I think the 3" I have will be my best bet. My block is on it's way to Kurt Urban, I need to get motivated and finish the engine bay. Cold weather has been getting me down. I was having some cooling issues last year and went to a bigger radiator. Now I can use two fans and I made a nice shroud. Afco 27.5 X 16 double pass.

I would think that shrouding the front of the radiator (pusher setup) is a bad idea. Also, it appears that the shroud is right up against the radiator.

The shroud is over a quarter inch off the core. The core is offset in from the tank seam. Those fans are 2200 cfm each. I test ran it and checked it with my manameter the airflow is very even. Last year I could only fit one fan on with no shroud. The airflowed only where the fan was, by using the shroud I am using the whole radiator, 4400 CFM is an assload of air flow.

got the engine back
As you can see in the first picture it is a Gm factory block 5.3 litre. ERL did there magic on the block, Brian Nutter @ wiesco made a great set of pistons and KURT URBAN turned it into a 427 long block. I have the 6 bolt block but couldnt afford a new set of 6 bolt heads this year.
Got the engine bay painted saturday and have been moving right along on the reassembly of the car

almost done with the fuse block relocation. have the dash and console with boost controller in.I still have to wire the fans and finish the wire extensions for the headlights. also found the slines on my transmission yoke twisted. That was a brand new drive shaft last year.
