I believe they are far enough away. A side shot would have shown it better. The hot side piping is out for coating and I didnt get any pictures when I was fitting them and the headers were on. I can always bend a small heat shield

^ Those look really close to the body. What kind of motor mounts are you running?

thats a bad view theres more room there than it looks like. The motor mounts show up pretty well in the pics. There a poly mount.

Is the radiator going to fit? I suppose your going to have to cut the support right?

That looks soo nice.

You can tell there's more room in there with those pictures. That intercooler is massive. THe radiator might fit in there without cutting if it is shorter than the top metal shroud piece. I've seen people just drop in a slightly shorter one without cutting.

The intercooler is 6" thick. It also has custom barbed fittings on it.
The radiator is a tight squeeze for sure. I will post pictures of that another time. But if it works I wont have to cut the support.

If you cut that black plastic mat off of the firewall it weighs right around 13lbs. That will help offset some of the weight you are adding.

Should have gone with the single DD core from Garrett. We use them for GT55 powered Supra's running 40+psi and 1300+rwhp. They work awesome, and much smaller and lighter.

Those are Garrett cores 24"X12.1"X3". I wont put the over rated junk cores in my build.

LOL, if you use a 3" thick core on a Supra with a GT55.....it won't work to well.

Jose,
The I/C uses two 3" cores back to back. The big 5" core you speak of kicks *** but this set-up flows a little bit more than the 5". The Supra guys might like this core too.
