Motor is looking good man!
We have lots to do around MI too man. Check out our local club at motown muscle dot com. (all one word) I am the events director there. We have a monthly meeting and lots of guys going to carshows, cruisenights, etc. Many of us cruise Woodward on the nice weekends. There are contingents that hit up Telegraph as well. Depends on what area you are closer to.

Looks good man! I just painted up my intake yesterday as well.
So you are still using your manifold heat shields with the ceramic coat? I left mine off after ceramic coating the manifolds in the hopes that I won't need those sharp heat shields anymore. But may still need some heat protection for my plug wires. I guess we will see. Got my turbo's hung on the engine again last night and mostly plumbed up. Needed to order some stainless steel zip ties to keep my heatshield between the pass turbo and starter. I still want that one in place.

well engine is done for the most part. Had to build some cooling cross over piping but it came out sweet i think.
made up a engine oil priming set-up as well with my turbowerx oil pump. it works very well. you take the drain plug out and let the oil drain in to jug on the floor the pump picks it up. we made the block fitting out of a old block plug.
