Never said it wouldn't make power I was just showing what it did for the 5.3. That's all. I'm aware of the space limitations we have in the f-bodies, making it hard for a twinscrew or roots to fit. Yea I know there's a Maggie mp112 kit by lmspeed. I want this twinscrew to come out. Been wanting a twinscrew since I bought my car and cried when I found out there was no pd type blower. Literaly cried lol

Seems efficient, but then again, I have no idea how things change when you direct a twin screw's discharge through a pipe as opposed to directly into the heads... that design looks like it would help IAT's a ton but I'm sure it has its downfalls as well.

If I ever build a daily driver F-Body, that is the setup I would use.

What do you you guys think about the Sonoco hood with the slot cut out for the pulley? Or do you like the stock hood cut out. trying to decide.

I prefer the stock hood cut out myself.

can u get an old school cowl to bolt onto the stock hood? theres too much "cut out" for my tastes. If you could make a lexan cowl for it, that'd be badass! cover it from the elements yet still show it off

A big word on that bro!

He should have cut closer to the supercharger though.

Yep! I would start over with another hood and trace the outside of the Whipple.

Thanks for the feedback. The stock hood was just a trial on a damaged hood. I can cut another one. I was trying to line up the cut with the cowl opening so it would flow all the way back to the windshield cut out.

I'll go back and tape up a closer cut to see what it might look like.
