Wow that's alot of cutting! I was going to get a big (2 inch) hole saw and get into that area under the rear panels... cutting it all out like that, that is pretty ballsey.

The rear trunk/spare tire area stuff, that drfinitely can go.

A 25.x cage provides all the support in that area...the suspension pickup points (stress points) are right at the cage interfaces

I didn't cut nearly as much as this guy

I dunno... that above picture has an awful lot cut. I'm just concerned about the car getting flex cracks.

thanks...I picked up a double cut bit for the headers...

JL...thats for grinding the primaries of the headers...not for weight reduction

should be able to get alot done this weekend...

I'm ordering the wing today from Kurt Urban (clear coated carbon fiber)...not cheap but should look bada$$
Unfortunately, it may take a while to get since Canadian time is unpredictable

I'm picking up a bunch of 1/2" chromemoly tubing to frame up the rear area I cut out and will be riveting down a thin sheet of fiberglass to seal it off...should be very light.

I've already got the main bar of the front bumper support bent, fit and tacked in place...didn't get a chance to finish since I ran out of Argon I hope to finish that up too this weekend so the turbo will be final mounted so I can take off the front fenders...
