So the converter is still kinda loose to the 1/8 but ok down the 1/4? Did you get the converter tightened up when you got the tranny fixed, swapped out or did you leave it alone? I remember you saying it was a 9.5" and should be a 10.5" while back, but not sure if it ever got changed. That 7.74@189 pass you were on a run there, especially lifting at 2.5 seconds in. you went 153@5.13 on the slower 60' run, but went 5.14@146, 7 mph slower due to lifting, if you'd been in it I bet that would of been a 4.8x 1/8!

Just wondering as me an nitroused383 were trying to figure out how much power you and another member who ran 7.5 at a lot less boost are getting the times your getting, and it's easy to see you were out the throttle now and other issues were keeping you from running to it's full potential. Makes sense now, good luck getting everything going full throttle!

well...failure diagnosis is in...

Shortblock looks good. Going to get at least new rings and bearings. Heads are JUNK.

Looks like COP is coming off the car and going with a dizzy. We think timing jumped at some point. straps on plugs 3, 5, and 7 were burnt.

Crack in passenger head (across the plug holes)

blown out chamber in #6

Blown out chambers between 3 and 5

On the other hand we were chatting with Shawn during the live feed and he mentioned something about the shape of your intake port on the heads, being what was causing some of the spooling problems, I guess now you have an excuse to go to some nice rectangle port heads!

Wow... heads are really junk! And those are the 1 off 265's too right? Can you even get those anymore?

Looks like it's time for something else no?

Ouch that hurts Brian when I got the text about the heads being cracked I was like WTF. Seeing the pictures makes it look 10 times worse than I pictured in my head.

Makes my junk lifter I found tonight pulling my heads to inspect for a blow head gasket look like nothing.

I am sure it will come out even more badass in the spring

Wow! You just can't catch a break on things. What's the thought process on new heads?

well....I'm not constrained by anything at this point. MOZES is out since it takes WAY too much to make those happen in the lifter department. Doubt I'll stay cathedral anymore.

Sweet Jesus those things are demolished. So if MOZEZ are out what about the All Pro LSW-2's? They look pretty sweet. At least you already have the right rockers... heh.

don't think so...the 265s used a unique offset so they are pretty much unusable

Are your pistons coated? Were those heads coated?

Have you pulled the data from that run to see what happened?

Hopefully no little chunks made it through your turbine wheel, looks like it all melted but you never know.
