Default 11:1 compression and wanting boost?

Got a ? I posted my Dyno sheet in the Dyno section but I'm at 11.1:1 compression in my stock cube ls1 with stock internals. I have all arp bolts tho. I'm putting down 397rwhp and 430 tq right now.. I'm thinking about adding a magnacharger to my setup.

Can I run a magnacharger at 7psi with my compression on 93 octane safely still?? Just not sure if it's possible with my stock internals and that high of compression? I want a solid 550whp in my car boosted just don't know if I can on 93 and my internals.. Any help or advice??

It will work with less timing advance and the high compression will be good on the street when not under boost. It's all in the tune, so pick a very good tuner.

he is going to need more then a good tune to make 11:1 cr work on 93 octane at 7psi. and with a Maggie boost will be made almost instantly.

if you absolutely have to use 93 the i would defiantly use meth

or use e85 if you can get your hands on it.

good luck

be sure you make it safe to run with that octane. you can get some 317 heads off here for cheap to lower you CR. you should look into it.

I don't want to change heads but thanks. I have stage 3 patriot 5.3L heads all setup for me. I'm just debating on nitrous or boost honestly... Nitrous I can run easily but if I can be safe on boost I'd rather go that way.

Meth injection I could def do if I can do it still on pump gas.

I have an excellent tuner who takes the time to make sure everything is perfect.. Minor detail he makes sure is dead on.. So I trust him, I don't do much my bottom end since I'm already heads cam etc.. Then boost/nitrous on top with stock bottom end.. Scares me a lil since I'm kinda new to these motors. It's why I ask lol..

this is where the problem comes in Sin if you are going FI you are going to have to change and get out of the NA set-up you got. Might as well get started on the good foot and save yourself later. 150 for some 317 heads is a steal and cheaper than meth that you can get later when you up the boost (which you will mostlikely do trust me boost is worse than heroine). That compression on stock may get you going but won't last long. I will say this though I don't know how they would perform on a stock ls1. Someone out there that knows could you chime in.

Get 317 heads(FROM ME lol), 0.054 MLS cometic gaskets with the 4.190 head gasket bore diameter and you compression should be around 9:3:1. Heads 150+shipping/fees. MLS gaskets round 80 bucks that would put you around 250 and you would be in safe compression.

I have 10.25 @ 5.5 at the moment with no meth but running e85. If you can you need to run e85 and pull timing. the stock ring lands arent going to like it. If you can get 317's
