Default rocker arms on boosted engines

curious what rockers you guys were using, wether stock or aftermarket
i run a little tighter spring on the 225 AFR's, curious what worked good
i had a CC's Pro mag crack in half, their also pretty heavy, so looking to make a switch-i realize the boosted engine wouldnt be much diff than non boosted
as far as rockers go, but lot of guys here making power-i thought some of the guys were just using stock ones with good power
i run around 15 lbs boost

1.8 yella terras to give me around 590 lift with my gt7 cam.I may go down to 1.7 yt possibly though to get even more headroom and make it easier on the springs.
Not sure how much power I really gain with the extra lift on an fi build might be easier to just make up the power with a bit more boost.

stock rockers on a cam lift greater than 630 will cause valve wear on the guide also. Im on stockers with a 608 lift cam no issues and pat gold springs.

because of the angle of thrust on the valve stem from the stockers(without roller tips) it does put tremendous wear on the guides. but i have heard that its lift greater than .550!
.630 is a pretty hefty lift and im sure would be bad on the guides. most FI cars unless large C.I. arent really running lift much more than .600-.620.

I ran a .622 lift hydraulic cam with stock rockers on my LS2 408 w/ AFR225's for 10K miles and my guides were still in good shape when I put my turbo motor together. Still running the stockers.

I am running Jesel C5r style shaft mount rockers. Keep in mind also that a heavier rocker arm set up will take away from your valve seat, and open pressure's.

well im gonna say thats what i heard about the stock rockers eating the valve guides. i havent proven this myself nor do i really believe it really cuz i have been running .600+ cams in my car for 2+ years and never seen any wear other than normal. when i had my patriot heads a replaced the valve seals and guides after 10k miles and they honestly looked great. i just di it to re-fresh the heads. my afr's i had off after 5k miles, they looked brand new also! i was just saying what i was reading or listning from my machine shop. i was running up to 18lbs on the afr heads with the stockers.
