startin to piece my fuel system together but with bein boosted i dont know what regulator to run, boost referance or what?

I got a Nasty tank with a A1000 w/ twin filters. Gonna be a -10 feed to a y-block then 2 -8's to the backside of each rail then im kinda lost. Out of the front then i get lost. Will i run 2 -8's out into a Y then a -8 to the regulator or how should this be done? Its gonna have a -8 return line to the tank just dont know how this should be ran. Post up some fuel systems so i can get a idea. Wanna do this once now and for the future build. Thanks guys

Buy a decent regulator and you can use it as the y. Then a #8 from the return port to the tank.

thats what i was thinking, but i dont know what regulator, theres a ton out there. Wanna stay with Aeromotive...anyone have a specific p/n for one?

that second one would work out good and pretty inexpensive @ $150. It says it has a -10 inlet and -10 out and a -6 return port. Now putting that after the fuel rails itll just be plumbed with the 2 -10's and plug the return port or plug one of the -10's?

Scroll down and you'll start to see the fuel system pictures. It looks like one -10 line Y'd off to (2) -10 lines to the back of each side of the rail, then a -10 line from each front of the rail to the FPR and a -6 return line to the tank. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I use a Kirbin. Really big in the GN cars but they are the best regulator for the price.

I use that cheap aeromotive regulator. I tried using a single -6 return and was having problems boiling the fuel. I ended up putting a T about 6inches away from the regulator and hooking up the stock feed line as a secondary return. Haven't had a problem since. If you can swing it, buy a regulator with a -8 return.

yea i deff need a -8 return since i have a -10 feed. Wonder if i can get a fitting for the return port on the FPR to adapt it to a -8

Im running an Aeromotive 13101 with a -10 line to the magnafuel pump to a -8 to the rails to the regulator with a -6 to the tank. I think the biggest thing is keeping enough fuel in the tank so that it doesn't over heat. I never go past half a tank.(I usually fill up every 100 miles which is 4-7 gallons depending on how I drive..usually closer to 7 haha) and I daily drive the car everywhere and have taken it on long drives with 0 issues.

as far as setup. In one side, crossover on the back, out the other side to the FPR, and then return.

aeromotive with a-1000 pump sumped tank and billet fuel rails with -10 feed -8 return 60 lb injectors... works great up to the pumps limits of around 750 rwhp.

After have 2 aeromotive go bad on me i switched to a magna fuel and ended up selling it because i hated the colors and bought another in black Never had a problen since switching!
