Default I need measurements on a GT4788 (pics inside)

Soo im contemplating on selling my PT88 in lieu of a GT4788. I -think- i have the room for it, but i need exact measurements of the GT4788 unit. I have pics with markings showing exactly where i need measurements taken, follow the center single red line across to the two perpendicular red lines in each pic. Thanks to all that help me out, really appreciated. The last pic, is of my car how it currently sits with the 88mm. You can see that its feasible, BUT i need these measurements. Im at the point in the build where i can still switch turbos and not have to change anything else yet.

You could do a GT91 which would be more compact and 91mm worth of power

At first, i was looking to do a 408 build, but after some searching, a 370 is what im going to go with instead. Which will be a great combo with a gt4788 and should push the numbers im looking for. Realistically, at the track will be the only time i can and will be able to push it all the way. On the street, 700whp is going to be useless in this light of a chassis.

thanks! I got 11.6" for front to back length, 10" roughly on the compressor housing, and 8.5" on the turbine housing. In pictures, it looks like the comp housing is 12" dia and the turbine housing is 10" dia. Im hoping its closer to my calculations according to the links you provided. --crosses fingers--

Is that a garrett "thumper" unit? AKA the really large ones? My shop gets a discount on garretts, soo this is another reason why i dont mind going to the large GT4788. But theres no way i could possibly go any bigger, its questionable as it is.

The GT91 is a mid-frame turbo. Size of a GT42.....which is much smaller.

Are you getting the garrett GT4788 or the precision 4788. They are not the same fwiw. I just bought a new precision 4788 with billet wheel. To the tune of $2600! Hope its worth it. Rated at 1400hp is I remember correctly.

you bet i am! IN theory at 4:1 power to weight ratio (650ish whp) i figured it should just break 200mph, we'll see how much further i can go with twice that hp amount. When i get the setup running with the current engine setup, we are going to see what it will do. I just wanna break a legit 200mph, then we'll see what it does at its full potential.

Also, another goal i really want to **try** to achieve is the fastest 6 speed record. I think a stupid supra (i hate supras) currently holds it, unless it has changed since i last looked. 8.49 @ some rediculous MPH. IIRC that car made around 1500whp and was 3700lbs raceweight. I'l add a nitrous kit if i have to

Well the boost logic supra went 7.90s so that would be pretty hard to top.

Yep... Good luck finding a six speed to hold the amount of power u want. I gave up after i was tolad 9k for a t56 to hold 800 tq. But i think u would be ok because the car is light. And nice shot from the top I love those lights.

600 would be useless on that light of a chassis. I made 733whp before spinning the tires on the dyno and my car will spin from 80-110 and it weighs 3200lbs.

Maybe il pull the wastegate spring full time on the street so it makes about <1 PSI haha. Ya, NA with mid 400s it was a spin fest with 12.50" wide worth of drag radial on it.
