Default Electric water pump?

Guys I'm going to be installing a 383 in a couple weeks. Next year I plan to put on a ProCharger. I have an A4. Is it worth it to put on an electric water pump? Or should I just stay with a belt driven one? I've read some that the electric draws alot of current and can effect an auto more so than a m6. I don't plan on running a front mount when I do the ProCharger. Thanks.

Depends on belt configuration i suppose. Save some money by buying a bbc pump and use the adapters to put it on the ls1

I assume you mean a big block chevy pump? Where would I find the right pump and adapters? Never heard about anyone using one of those on the
LS1. Usually its either a normal stock like pump or a Mezerie. I know I spelled that wrong.

I have one. It works fine but I doubt it provides much in terms of increasing performance. However, it sure does look cool. It's wired with a relay and it hasn't effected my car's 4L80e.

BTW you are aware that the EWP still has an idler pulley on it...just sayin

Can I get more info on the BBC pump mod people are doing? How much flow over stock is it and how does it compare to the electrical water pump setup. I am down with getting better flow without the $500++ price tag.

Thanks

My question is does running the BBC pump really increase cooling capacity and does it free up some ponys like Moroso claims?
