Default Finally got 76mm trunk mount single setup out, 6.000 @ 120 in the 1/8

Got it a little figured out on pump E85, went a couple 6.0s in 1/8 mile leaving on footbrake with a lame 1.5 60 ft, just like I drive it around on 275 radials and that $2 gallon corn syrup. Sure beats C16 to drive around on. Ran into some voltage supply issues that put a lid on doing much more, get to figure that out next

Its very basic setup, iron 6.0 block/pistons, As Cast TFS heads, LS6 intake, and my first shot at a turbo camshaft right around 228 dur. Oh and the 76 in the back hatch helps a bit. Heavier than I thought it was though just a hiar under 3500 lbs.

DA looks like it was 2700-2900 ft, damn truck said it was 94 degrees when we left the track at 1 AM

For you other turbo cars, whats that equate to roughly in the 1/4?

It helps spooling by a couple hundred rpm maybe, but most gain youll see is really getting the tune lined out to spool it.

Congrats. Those are decent numbers. 150 mph 1/4 all day long. Should be good for a 9.2-9.3 only because of the sad 60'. Get that down and you'll be solid 9.0x car.

Yeah, havent had the car leaving on any power yet. 1 lb, goes 1.50, 5 psi went 1.38 later that night. I figured 10 lbs the car makes power weve been 1.25 60 ft on, looks like it is on par, just need to get it there.

6.0 at 120mph at 94F at 1:00 am with a 1.50 sixty on a single rear mount 76 has to be a record. Congrats. 5.8's gets me 8.9's so you should be very close to a 9.2 at 150mph.

Whose 76?

Thanks guys

It was pretty f'ing gross out, in the daytime those temp things get screwy when they are in direct sun, but none of that at night so Id have to assume it accurate on track temp? Look up weather for the area it was 88 so I dont think mid 90s on the pavement that was baking all day is all that out there. All I know is multi layer fire jackets suck *** in way positive DA, who gives a **** what it does to the car. We were out in it all day again Sunday at the NSCRA race at MIR and it killed me, luckily won the class with the car we took down there so semi worth it?

3.90s (too much) and a slip and slide glide. Converter flashes to around 3300 give or take depending onthe tune. I think Im going to tighten it up some more I think I can still get it to light off

A couple PSI on any LS1 should at least be 1.6/1.7 capable? Mine on NOTHING goes mid 1.7s with a tight converter and a powerglide, and it only makes like 330 on the motor on the dyno
