Default Innovative West 8" crank Pulley questions

All:

I have tried to search for this and have spoken to a few folks and can't seem to get a consistent answer. Does anyone know if this IW 8" pulley will work with a procharger setup on an LS1 / LS6? Or do I have to go with an ATI super damper? I want to get some more belt wrap on my system and a couple more PSI, so I would like to step up to an 8" pulley. I will be using it on my 383 build.

Thanks!

yes, I've seen that. I had just been told for some reason that it won't work with the procharger setup, which I don't understand why it wouldn't.

ECS has the Vette and Procharger listed in their drop-down menu for the 8" pulley. I'd call and ask.

I've used them in the past on Corvettes with ProChargers without any problems at all. Here is one Corvette we had one on. http://www.procharger.com/supercharger/blog/?p=178 Bob

They would know, they were the ones to get Innovate to make them.

I know they make one for the trucks, so seems like they would make one for the f-body as well. I like mine. Actually measured out at 8.13" using circumference around the top of the ribs to calculate the diameter. Just an FYI

Correct, the Innovators West balancer wouldn't help at all on an F Body because the blower pulley is bolted on to the outside of the balancer. What he needs to do is to find a machine shop that will make him a larger pulley. Bob

I have talked to IW about a year ago, and theres are made for the covettes only although they said if I sent them my procharger pulley that they would make one any size I wanted for about $300. Just a heads up for you!

Thanks Inspector. I'm gonna try and find a 8 in 8 rib production alum. pulley and have it modified to bolt on. Thats still pretty good price for a new pulley to be made.

it will work on a GTO setup but not on an F-body with an SDCE setup ; the belt will hit the water pump pulley if i recall correctly .

So this would work on my 04 Joe gibbs silverado with a magnuson...how much boost would this add...I think its a stock crank pulley with only about 5 pounds...are there any larger crank pulleys out there...

Would the ecs mag tensioner work on my truck i didn't see it listed on there...

I've been thinking about running more boost and adding some ****...

Sorry to butt in on your thread...pm me if necessary...anyone with experience on something similar
