Its not loom. Its hard flexible conduit. I didn't care for a soft fuel line running under their without protection. So I put it Inside of it. Peace of mind.

the 4l60 does have a 3.06 first gear, which is kinda short. turn it up and see what it does. i think it'll be a different story at 10 psi.

the 3" dp may be holding you back too..

That's weird about your boost issue. My gto w/ls2 and t56 boost came on instantly with a garret t76

I wonder why 5lb's of boost on the front mount is just as fast as 10lb's on a rearmount? You think it's just the perception because it hits harder? I don't know why your front mount would make 100+ more hp then a rear mount.

I'm also questioning that maybe there might be a back pressure issue with the TC78, so that when you turn it up to 10lbs the back pressure negates any gains?

My TC76 makes 6lbs of boost in 1st gear with an M6 and 4.11 gears. I'd say something is up with your transmission.

This is probably more accurate, it sure feels like a blast. Id throw a gauge in it, but i highley doubt im running into back pressure issues already. Id like to find out though.

Yeah, its weird. Gonna do some more logging through out the week and see if we can nail down the issue. also going to rear pressure test my cold side.

if your running just gate pressure ive heard the gate can begin to open at lower boost levels causing issues building boost in first. try using a boost controller to hold teh WG closed until desired boost level

This i may try tomorrow. Ive felt like trying a new method on the Manual controller for a couple weeks, maybe ill re run it to the top of the gate with the manifold going to the bottom.

Currently have the manual controller from Halman and its setup like their instructions say. Seems like if just move it to the top of the wastegate and and use it for pressure on the gate then it should do the same. i would think.

Oops, sorry man! lol.l she does feel pretty great! needs alot more tuning, as we havent done much to her since the 5lbs etc. Im debating on a transmission right now, i really want a 4l80e but cant find much info on MVB setups and im not buying a 1k controller.

Also, if i could do it over again, Precision all the way. I dont have anything against this turbo, but everything i read from people switching tells me i shouldve done that in first place!

You should be able to load a a4 shift table to your pcm and run the wires to the trans. But pin outs are different for the 4l60 and 80e. Don't say that about the Turbo! Your gonna make me second guess my choice of a tc78!

A couple of the guys ive talked to with nearly identical combos are leading to believe something else is wrong, they have explained their boost and its nothing like mine. Couple that with the e85 and i should be spooling stupid quick.

I just went out and did a quick foot spool video on the brakes for a guy who wanted to see what was happening on my gauges etc.

i was able to stall upto 2200rpm on my 3200 stall, but i had to yank up the E brake to make that happen, on the regular brakes, my rears simply arent strong enough to hold or it just pushes me down the road if the backs are heated up.

So, ive got other issues, i think we are gonna try throwing some timing at it in stall up area and try to build some torque.

if not, ill have to figure something else out.

That's about what you would expect on the foot brake. Should flash to a little more then 3K at 100% tps trying to move the weight of the car.

This is exactly what Dave @ Yank told me

But mind you, it wasnt just on the foot brake, but i think that has more to do with my pathetic brakes then anything.

Stupid GTO brakes---

Really no updates, Still waiting on a nice day to do more tuning. Kind of sucks, also gathering parts for a 4l80 swap since this 4l60 already showed me a sign that it might not last alot longer.

This will be trans number 3. Hate it, oh well.

And other then that, found out how my engineering sucks during the first plug swap, wasnt fun!

Got it done, but wasnt fun!

Anyway, im sure once i get some more tuning in ill get some video. Im also building a mount for my digital camera to go on my head rest for video action
