Got mine a couple days ago. Looks great and Fraser answered all my questions. I haven't unwraped the plastic around it yet because I still have to move it again. But I can't wait to get it in the car. All I need is some head studs and ls9 gaskets and order my cam. Can't wait!

Has anyone built a LS Turbo Motor with a over square combination ?
Say a LS7 block and a 3.5 Stroke ?? I would like a motor that could use the high
rev band say rev limit of 7800 peak power 7200ish
Or am I dreaming ??
I have a very light car 2100-2300 pounds so more revs historically has worked better than masses of torque..

I'm sure they have. But in such a light vehicle, even a stock bore LS6, LS2, whatever will make all the power you could ever want. hell, even one of the 4.8 or 5.3 motors would work great too.
And with the smaller bores you have much stronger cylinder walls, and more area for the head gasket to seal on.
I see little point pushing bore sizes to the maximum on a turbocharged build.

Shane at thunder racing says with a decent cam and rockers I could easily be 750-800whp, thats only revving to 6500rpm.

I've got the 390 with ETP II heads, a horrible street cam, ls1 intake manifold, and heavy rockers, with a TC-78 turbo. at 14psi I made 650whp on a mustang @ 4000ft.

I think that turbo is pretty much maxed out. I'll be selling it soon and upgrading to something much larger. Also have to sell the built t-56 and mcloed twin disc and drop in my 4l80
