I'm tempted to have you guys build me one of these just so I have a backup. Knowing my luck, my LS2 will blow within 30 seconds of starting it the first time

Why does some of the builds come with CP pistons and others have Diamond?

Most of our custom pistons are made by Diamond, they have a quick turn around and they're 1 day away from us in Detroit.

CP is in California, shipping alone adds 1 week, the wait time from CP is longer.

Both companies have good products in this scenario I felt Diamond had more to offer.

The Diamond made '390' pistons use the same NPR rings and Trend 'S-pins' 4130 Chrome-moly.

Well I would rather not say what I paid for mine unless fraser is ok with it.

I did however send them the ls2 block, the Callies compstar I beam rods, and main studs that I already had. So those items were taken off the price. However had I purchased all of it though them it would have likely been $5500ish
