I hope it is better then the carb style with elbow, and cost efective. If it is both, I want one as soon as you get your testing done.

I might be wrong, but did I see the injector ports are under the intake? If so pretty cool, but how do you expect the fuel not spraying on the back of the valve to effect things?

I also see what could be injector ports on top, just not drilled out. If they were on the bottom that would look really clean though. I would hope the fuel would be pretty well atomized by the time it gets to the valve.

They were machined on the floor to just verify that they could physically fit on the bottom of the manifold.
The manifold will come with the top injector location machined, but the manifold needed to be capable of 2 injectors per cyl out of the box if need be.
Those pics are of just the prototype not the casting , the casting will look much better.
It will also have FORD & GM bolt patterns for the throttle body pad.

A manifold with 2 inj ports already installed and mounting locations ready for rails would be excellent.
It must fit cathedral heads though

the only way a catherdral port version will be offered is with 20 preorders for the cathedral port intake. Otherwise there just isn't enough demand to make it cost effective.

Just to clear up a couple things.

John Marcella is actually making the manifold. if you don't know who he is,crawl out of your cave. He has built some of the baddest sheetmetal intakes on the planet. But please do not call John about this at this point in time. He is very busy and there really isn't anything to talk about right now. If you have any questions feel free to pm me.

The price will be right around $1200.00 per unit with fuel rails.

it will be able to accept dual injectors

the intake will have an ls7 flange and possibly a ls3.

why no cathedral port versions right off the bat?
seems to me like the cathedral port heads are the most dominant as of now.
i dont think yall will have a problem filling out that 20 pre order requirement for the cathedral version.
im guessin thers alot of cathedral port users that are gonna want this manifold, especially if it fits under 4th gen fbodies and whoops the FAST in performance dept. and just by looking at it, it looks like its been modeled after a serious sheet metal intake

Add me to the that list Shawn for the cathedral port version. I would have no problem selling my 102mm Fast in order to get that intake. How far out are we looking at for this intake to be done? I will have my build done by spring. Will it be ready by then?

Shawn, do you know of any trans am hoods on the market that I could fit that Holley intake under?

Did you already give an estimate price on the Holley?
