pt88=800+RWHP??

Default pt88=800+RWHP??

building a 370, 9.1 compression, custom futral cam, fully ported 317 heads, victor junior intake with elbow and 90mm TB, custom 9.5" PTC convertor all in a 3550lb g-body. on meth and about 18lbs of boost will this T4 PT88 get me my goal of AT LEAST 800RWHP? Looking to go into the 9.2ish area and 147mph area. getting it for a good price just want to make sure before i purchase it, thanks.

There's a guy on here running a 370 with a pt88 in a 3700lb car going 158mph. Not sure on his boost and whp but I would think that would be at least 800

3700lbs and 158 mph is A LOT more than 800 rwhp lol

i guess im more curious as to can this turbo make the amount of power im looking for with a max of 20psi but more around 18.

This was race gas on a friends car and its a 408 but you get the idea.

My car made 895rwhp on 19lbs pump gas and meth with the pt-88 through a th400. Just another option, mine is a 404ci

No one said they were not capable. Just the fact of the car weighing 3700lbs. 800rwhp is definitely possible.

midwest? Anyways I havent ran my car yet but with weight and power it made should run mid to low 9's. The car in the video ran a 9.4xx something two years ago at 142 with a basic 370 making less power. Its a pig too

Keep an eye on backpressure if you go any higher with cubes

FWIW a SX80 will easily make 800rwhp on a 370. I'm pretty close on just 15psi with one of the most basic motor setups ever. Stock heads, ls6 manifold.

Sounds like a cool little project! You should be able to go alot quicker than that... With traction, and trans problems A super mild 317/370/pt88 combo went 9.65@143mph in a 4850LB 4x4 truck on gasoline with meth injection.

thats what i like to hear!! what was the boost and timing at with the meth? This will be in a well setup g-body.
