Effin' sick dude, congrats! What are you doing for fastening on the heads? Just ARP studs, no pushing water at that boost? I would really look into some adjustable rockers, AFR's are notorious for screwing up valve guides with stock rockers. I had 4 in each head that had to be replaced, buddy had more, and another local car is starting to burn oil too. Sick setup, I'd like to check it out personally at TX2K11 if that's cool.

Sounds good man hit me up when we get down there. THe car has Just ARP studs and LS9 gaskets. I am on stock rockers and will probably keep it that way for awhile. I had a set of comp pro mag rockers on my n/a setup and they fucked some **** up...caused serious valve float at high rpms

How was the idle/low speed tuning with the 160's?

Any other changes to the fuel system? Weren't you running dual 255's and 8 feed, 6 return?

Rick
Eh the 160's are a little rich on Decel and idle but it doesn't mess with the way the car runs. It was either $800 bucks for a set of injectors and a box or almost $1300 for high impedance injectors..

Would you have preferred high impedance over low? Personally, low > high IMO so I'd say you're good. I think the only high impedance injectors I'd try would be ID1000's or ID2000's. Local E85 guys love them. What's your duty cycle on the 160's?

so how much timing did you have into it and peak power if you dont mined me asking

The regulator was not increasing fuel pressure with boost and with a base pressure of 45 PSI we saw a pretty high IDC. I had the pressure turned down while I worked on getting the car to idle a bit leaner, and get light cruise afrs leaner as well, currently in the 12.0-12.5 range. Ill mess with the tune more in the next week.

As far as doing triple pumps in a plastic tank, its a PITA, I forgot to snag pictures of it.

OMFG! I read used parts, stock stuff, and 1100RWHP in the same paragraph. WTF! Only in a Pontiac! Thanks for making my car look whimpy.
