Your convertor must bekilling because I trap 114 on cool nights with my 550whp. I know for certain its taking 4mph atleast off your trap speed..
What kind of tires do you have on the rear? Also your car launches great, what's your rear susension?

There are calculators to calculate slip. When I calculated mine it was like -.1%, gotta love them FTI converters.
Who spec'd the converter? Was it spec'd for you specific application i.e. 15-20+ psi of boost and the rpm's your going to be turning at that power and race weight?

Iat temps were about 95-105 when i checked. Not sure what they were on the line.
Depends on the boost obviously, but when i had it up on the second video it had very little, maybe 500 RPM drop if that. It felt like one gear the whole way down. In that second video i bounced off the limiter(6000) crossing the line.
On lower boost levels it has a more noticable drop but im not sure exactly how much.
I do but have not used them this year yet. I will be trying it out next weekend.

Hey do you stock rear shocks ?
Tci's website has some good calcualtors. Which mine is 28% if I remember right.

It was -.1
Edit: I was using my 1/8 mile rpm and mph and that gave me the -.1% I put in my one 1/4 mile pass I've made and got 4%.
From what I have read 4% is pretty good.

4% is nice and tight on the topend
.1% unlocked is crazy
I see just over 6% through the traps with my PTC, but last year I saw 25+% with a cheap summit converter
Whole new car with the converter change

I figured if I entered in mph, rpm, tire circum., and gear ratio it'd be the same no matter 1/8 or 1/4, I also calculated that with my 25.8" 275/50's which I've never ran in the 1/4. I just re-calculated it with the tires I actually used in that 1/4 mile run and got 5%.

What's with all the calculator crap. You can monitor converter slip directly by rpm with hpt. My current FTI 2800 slips about 500 rpm up top and my old FTI 3200 slipped almost 1000.
