I was very happy with how helpful they(no names) were. Just didnt enjoy getting the run around for over 2 months as to why the turbo I ordered hasnt been shipped out yet. I was trying to be on a tight timeline, and that immediately screwed me over. Which is why its July and my cars not running....... thats all im going to say.
I feel ya. It took 6 weeks for me to get my turbo from them. When I ordered it they told me they had them "sitting on the shelf." every order I have made with them was over promised and under delivered.

Your cars gonna be a blast when it's done though. Good to see someone making a streetcar with a big turbo!

If the service is honestly like the last two posters posted then it cannot be coincidence or one time circumstances for this type of thing to happen. Everyone I've seen post anything about them the one word always is in any of the first sentences or at least one and that is months. So maybe they just take a long time period for everyone? I dunno....

Nice build, similar to ours which when I have time I'll make a build thread.

We did a ls2/afr head/ls6 intake build with truck manifolds and a FI98x in the front bumper with a full size radiator.

not like it matters but i bought a tc78 from him and it took about a week and a half. BBUTT he told me that they were shipped from tubonectics already and it should be about two weeks.

but im sure the tc units are alot more popular then lets say your gt-55 94 being twice the money.

My 6 week wait was for my tc78.

When I got it rebuilt, I went somewhere else and had it back in the truck 2 weeks after I took it out.

So when do you think it will be running now?

HAHA, Dude if it wasnt for ForcedInductions taking forever, and my motor taking a hell of a lot longer than expected I would have had this bitch on the road by April. Putting it all back together is actually fun

I hope it all goes well. The thing I am most curious about is how much boost the e85 w/ no intercooler will be good to without knock. I have been trying to find a decent source for 55 gallon drums of methanol for my build because I believe that its less than five dollars a gallon if I do not have to ship it.

The car wont be pushed hard enough this season to worry about knock.

Thanks brother. Its getting there!!!

Tonight I got the wires made, coilwires redone, vacuum lines ran, and a few other little things taken care off. Here are some up to date pics taken 5 minutes ago.

Mounting the transmission cooler tomorrow which will be a bitch. Im putting it underneth the car kinda under the passengers seat. Its a B&M big *** cooler with a electric fan that kicks on @ 175 degress. How far from the floor should the fan be? I was going to put it 4" away from the floor unless you guys suggest otherwise for a good reason.

I have the exact same B&M cooler with t-stat control and fan mounted in the exact same location. I'd say my car is 3-4" off the ground where the cooler is. I don't have any problems with mine there yet.
