Okay so Im not sure that I made the right choose in ordered a cam that was speced out to me. Im going to be running a comp thripple ball bearing 8079 billet wheel turbo,1.32ar 3.5 dp, with a 9.6:1 comp ported 241 head lq9 iron 370ci.
My tuner ordered a custom comp cam grind thats 232/236 .598/.602 on a 115 +4 lsa. what do you think??????
Im looking for 800ish whp on 18psi using 100 octane through a 9inch and locked verter, shooting for mid to high 9s launching on full suspenion t-braked car at 3800lbs.

with the 79 turbine and a 1.32 housing you wont have any problems with backpressure, Since you are redoing a little on the kit get a motovative spool valve on there and bring the TQ up, should be around 850wtq and really help out the midrange.
Remember that the comp 79 turbine will outflow a precision GTS by a large amount Id say 80-100whp worth, should be good up to around 1050whp through a stick with the large housing

I didn't think I would have any issue spooling on the street with a 3600 stall,370ci and the triple ball bearing turbo. The entire hot side is getting coated to keep the heat in. we will see

thanks for all the info. Im hoping one day to replace the 241s for a nice high dollar head and maybe see 900whp. I believe the 241s although ported are my biggest restriction.
