I was keeping my mouth shut about this one but I am very curious as well. My car still has stock heads and cam but puts out about 11.5 pounds of boost. My tq number is higher than most but my hp is lower than most that run a similar set up. Heads cam and meth would certainly change all that but I'm guessing 600 would be about all it would produce on a stock to lightly modded ls1. However, I would love to be proved wrong on that one.

Now the reason I am interested in this is because I plan on building a whole new engine just for boost soon and I'm certain that a whipple screw charger can supply far more than a tvs unit and hopefully has a good flowing intercooler.

I want to see what the max capacity of this system could be on a built motor.

Stock ls1 Prob. Make 30-40 hp less than just bolting the supercharger on say a stock ls3.

I voted yes...

Didn't read the whole thread so I don't know if this has been brought up but if you get enough sells for the 2.9L would there be works in the future for something bigger for the ones running 440+ cubes?

Correct me if i'm wrong Mike, but to answer the question the tuner kit doesn't include ecu tuning and fuel system.

god i can't wait for this TWIN-SCREW supercharger to come out. that way it can put those ROOTS/TVS setups to shame. but i do still like the TVS system. I'm just a PD supercharger fan.

Looks like whipple should make the kit... Imo atleast 30-40 people in the polls would buy the first batch of kit including myself.

Tuner kit includes everything in the complete kit except injectors, boost a pump and tune.

All depends on the motor: Comp ratio, displacement, cam, heads and so on. If you go too low with the CR, you will have to spin the crap out of blower which will produce hotter IAT's which lowers the HP

I voted yes because it will fit on my LS2 GTO (with minor tweaking) and I'm advising everyone that owns a LS1/2 GTO to do the same.
