E85 and about 21 degrees of timing IAT's where about 144 on that 8.89 pass. I am tunning a Yank 3400 stall. 1/8 miles number where 5.72@123mph

Yeah the thing was pulling hard til it fell off. You could even feel it in the car on the dyno. I could never reallyfeel it on the street or the track. AFR and timing where good so I am sure it wasn't just a dyno issue

Badass build. thanks for sharing. I just read all 17 pages. Nicely done. What's next? Trying to go deeper in the 5s?

Well now that things have settled down after Sandy came to town and got things a little wet around here. 10" of rain in one day and my house and a nice wet basement

I drove the car into work today to up it up on the lift look somethings over and put some coolant in it getting prepared for winter. I found that I did to a little bit of damage to the car on the wheelie. I bent the rack mounts on my BMR k member

Not bent bad but enough. I think I am just gonna put it on the alignment rack and see how bad it is.

I also was looking through the logs and my dyno sheet looking for some reasons for the odd things the car has been doing and the car falling on its face over 5500 rpm. I found that the PCM grounds on the back of the head were loose I am hoping this explains the MAP readings dropping out and the rpm readings jumping to 13,440 rpm during a pass

If the weather is good I think I will be heading back to the track on the 10th to try and best my 8.89 pass.

I also finnally for around to putting my Firehawk decals back on the car

At least it didn't crack the oil pan, right? lol. Its awesome that it has run in the 8's without turning the boost way up. I will be happy if mine runs in the 9's.

Dan I know you don't want to spend the money but ide hate to see you starve this bullet for oil on hard launces. Bobby extended his stock pick up, I went with the moroso pan. Not to many people talk about it but in my research 60fts in the 1.3s or faster, the stock stuff is sketchy.

I did put that improved racing baffle in the stock pan. I might switch to something better later

I hope so. Honestly that's all I hope for. My car is heavy and doesn't have a trans brake. Your car is damn fast. It's faster than a lot of trailer cars.

Now I haven't driven my car to the track and made a pass in years. Breaking **** 55 miles from home sucks. Also now being on E85 I don't think there is any E85 close to Cecil that I could refuel and go home.

I ran my car on e85 with the f1a for a little bit and didn't like the limited numbers of stations. There is one by my house and I carry the laptop with me, but didnt like being limited. I also hated the gas mileage out of it too. I am back on 93, but with methanol so results should be similar. Of course if I go to the track I might do the e85 methanol deal. I gotta get this trans back together first, lol. Trailering the car is smarter, wreckers cost money.

Well I just paid for my spot in another rental on Saturday. Weather is saying a high of 56 so that is about 15-20 degrees cooler than when I ran the other week. I am hoping I got all my bugs worked out and I can make some more good passes

Edit Nevermind.

Did you figure out the reason it fell off at 5500 I don't remember if you said it did or not
