yeah, im gonna have to go to 2.5in piping all the up until the MAF. got a 3.75" to 2.5" hose reducer then 2.5" turn down. fortunatly i already had some 3" to 2.5" coupler for the BOV pipe so thats covered. that area is tight as hell.

i did order a few other pieces too. got a 6an steel braided line to connect to the hard line right after the APR. my thinkign is that it will hel reduce vibration and reduce some of the heat transer

lol didnt even get to running it with the MAF lol just figure its one less thing. was wondering though, should i have it hydrib tuned with the MAF or just leave it out completly? just wondering.

the guys at the tuning shop see pretty legit. when i was there they were tuning some sort of race car which was most defiitly on race gas lol was mking my pregnant wife sick LOL it was some kind of circle track race car. im thinking dirt track by the lmited amount of body panels lol guy new what i was talking about when i mentioned 2 bar MAP and was really happy when i mentioned water/methanol injection with it. and they have experience with LS motors. they have gotten an RX7 to run with an LSX in it so they seem to know their stuff. first thing he asked me is if i took care of the fuel system so that makes me comfortable to know they are looking ahead as i am. guy was really helpful and was the one to recommend speed density so i think these guys will do nicly.
now just to get that damn turbo on there! lol was hoping i could have done that this weekend but looks like i gotta wait until next week... tease lol

tryed getting the exhuast welding on the car today but the welding shop was too busy. gonna go in monday morning to get the resonators and the after turbine and wastegate piping. im gonn a have the turbo in place so they can weld the pieces into it place.then take it off and and go home to install the oil pump and charge piping. that damn intercooler is kicking my ***. why does it seem like i have extra crap in the way to run the charge piping near the smog pump and whatnot?

lol well then i guess that settled lol no MAF it is. any problem with just leaving it in the intake track without it actually hooked up? trying leave it there for "appearance" sake like my AIR hook ups lol really trying to confuse peope when they look under the hood lol also I have to get the new sized couplers to remove the maf. its ordered, just gotta wait for it to get in. gotta 4" to 2.5" 90 degree elbow that should really clean that part up and help fit a 2.5" pipe between the rad and engine.

I wouldnt leave it.its just going to be a restriction, plus then you gotta buy more couplers which = $

got my 10" 6 an steel braided line for the return section off the FPR. i figure that will take a little stress and heat off of the 3/8 return hardline. looks good too. also got another 100' of black exhaust wrap. i figure 200' will cover just about everything lol
waitin on a few things. unfortunatly, im gonna have to hold off on putting the intercooler on until next week. gotta go to las crusis next weekend. dont want my car acting up outta town.

well, after getting a better look it and using 2.5" piping to run between the rad and engine, im gonna have th pipe run towards the battery, then go down in that little space between the rad and engine (less moving stuff lol) then go to the intercooler, then a straight shot all the way back to the turbo. should be interesting. im glad i have my konis on the top perch setting lol wont be any lower then the Ypipe so all is good still. still gonna make a few notches here and there to keep the pipe tucked up as high as possible.

well in the process of waiting i decided to to some much needed maintainance on my driversside head light motor. got the brass gear replacement. worked out great. was a PITA in some parts to get the motor back in, but all in all pretty easy.

actaully not that bad. id image the grinding was more of obstructions then these few teeth missing but oh well. save it for if the other one really needs it in an emergency

and then just some test fitting, still waiting on the new 2.5" coupler to come in to hook up 2.5" instead of 3".

gotta head up to Las Crusis this weekend for the army, so i had to revert back to stock but gave me an idea on what to do and how to run it. should be pretty easy once i get that damn intercooler in the bumper lol ill do that next week when i get back home. shuold be ready to install and tune it within 2 weeks so as long as the weather dont act up around here. im not driving my car over tot eh shop with a dust storm blowing around.

got that flexible 6an hose steel braided line between the FPR and 3/8 hardline installed. looks much better and is behind the powersteering pump now and follows the stock fuel feed line now for a smoother look. i initially did this to help route the charge pipe there but im gonna run that on the other side do i dont do that silly STS route of circiling the bumper.

heres the pick i promised
