Just ask for TJ.

We have 4 engine dynos and a chassis dyno here too, and we are on the west side of the state.

Awesome build...

But one error or warning... you WILL grenade that rear end if you hook if you're making anywhere near the power you want to. I know people with stock LS F-bodies who have destroyed their rear ends. The 7.5" F-body rear end from '82-'02 was a HORRID design for the car and way too weak.

thanks for the compliments. i don't disagree with you on the rear end but i know there are quite a few guys running this hp and hooking up over on 3rd gen . org. orr for example is gunning low to mid 9's with his and he still has the stock 2:73 rear. again i agree with you but i think I'll have some fun with it till it give up life and dies on me lolol i dont plan on ever putting slick on this thing. when i do take it to the track it will be ran with the street tires i drive there with.

hey guys its been a while but i bought a boat and my wife and i have been spending our free time getting it ready for summer.

my tires came back today so i thought I'd post the pics of them. they were able to fix the damaged one and refinish all of them and they look new now

i also have a bunch of powder coat stuff that will be done by next week so I'll be posting pics of those as well.

more to come soon.

222-224 duration
115 lobe separation
.600 lift

ok i know nothing about cams or what that stuff even means but does anyone have any input on this spec before i call them back and order this cam?
I'm doing twin t3 60's on my 5.3, and plan to use Speed, Inc's TU1 cam.
225/225 .581/.581 113

Granted, this is on a bigger cube motor, but the idle is the same.

thanks for the vid and tip. I'll check it out. i haven't made a decision on the cam yet i figure I'll wait till i get a little further along. all i know is i want as much as i can get for a street car out of this motor.

Great work so far Brian. I know its going to be a beast. I have a link here from a guy who is doing great things and has an Isky cam and spring package that does wonders in a 2.5 ton truck. Check it out and tell me your thoughts.

You can fit them forward/down, just isn't easy, but that's how we did maxxmitchell's old 88mm setup.

Very nice work so far, I'd love to do twins, but just working out what I got first! Whoever does your alignment will appreciate how adjustable those strut mounts are, I also got some cam bolts for the strut/spindle, so on the tower, it actually looks like I have very little negative, or positive camber. But it just gave me extra flexibility for down the road.

You planning on getting to the mifbody meet and greet? Or sometime on Woodward later this summer?

thanks, I'm hoping to really get some time on it next week when i get home.

as far as the meet and greet and woodward.. I'd love to but i doubt I'll have it done by then. once i get the motor, turbos and trans fitted I'll have to pull it all out so i can do the rebuild, paint etc. with a two year old at home i only get a couple hours a week out in the garage so it goes pretty slow for me. honestly my goal is to have it all done by next summer.
