This was my first car I've tuned it took me about 10+ hours to get it to idle where I wanted. Tons of reading on HP tuners forum picked up Master Efi Tuner which helped. And another member called me from TX and helped me understand what needed to be done. Also You need to make sure your injector data is correct also are you SD? MAF? I could ask a thousand questions. Where are you having troubles?

Yes im in sd. My injector data is correct im just wondering how you tuned your airflow tables to account for the larger cam. My timing is all over the place and im having tons of knock at idle. It backfires and has absolutely no throttle response. My afr isnt hooked up but im guessing its lean. Just wondering what tables you messed with to tune your cam

I would say something else is wrong because even when I had a stock tune it ran fine just was rich. Sounds like cam timing. Have you flashed it back to stock and see if it runs alright? I changed ve, idle trims min pulse width etc .....

Got the motor in Friday fired it up and sounds great way more oil pressure than the last one. Also more compression 162-165 per cylinder old motor was 153-155.

Also got my turbo back again with a new PTC 9.5" converter. And got the trans refreshed

Looking good man! Just saw you had a build thread on here. Glad to see it will be street worthy again shortly!

I currently have mine all ripped apart and will hopefully be in the reassembly stages all day tomorrow (Friday). Maybe even have it running again for the end of the weekend. I'm not letting this damn 5.3 die until it REALLY grenades!
