Wait till you see the kit everything stainless, the flange and rod for the brace. So its going to be a nice piece.

Trans was basically fine just was overheated so had him do a freshening. Done by Shawn over at best transmissions in Springfield

My attempt at free hand and a little walking of the cup on the inside there...very inconsistent compared to yours:

That is a very good thought.

The downside is the time to swap motors out. Let's not forget if the rod actually broke and punctured the pan while he was doing 100mph+ it could easily oil down the rear tires and send him into the tree's. I've seen a few cars pushed and oil down the tires.

That's one way to scare the hell out of me lol
I'm just hoping to run this till the end of the season and I'm dropping my other block off to get it built all forged 370? Or maybe something else? I'm open to suggestions

I've seen some people use sheet metal pans under the motors for that reason not sure how effective that would be but I guess it's a piece off mind, any chance you have a alignment bar for some rearend welding need to have one shortened and some other welding done to it?

Aint that the truth, my 25X35 is packed full of parts from my car right now as I am waiting on the shortblock to get a new crank, balance, ect, ordering parts to do another turbo setup from scratch minus the turbo. Gonna do a manifold setup this time pretty similar to the op's.

Op keep at man, once it goes back in, it wont skip a beat.
