Ya it just took me a bit too see what Skinnie was saying. Im sorry didn't mean to step on your toes man. Im not looking for secrets or anything. Ive made crazy hp on the diesel pick up scene and want to dabble with a boosted ls set up. Look im literally the broke *** trying to keep up with the rich kids that have moved here. Just looking for the best info and way to go. Denmah and his crew give me hope man im serious i need at least a 10.0 with new car and ls

Once he gets the gasket sealing issue fixed I my self still think like I had before that he needs a more efficient turbo.....20+#'s and a shot of nitrous made a few months back like 700whp. Like I told him my little ole 76mm Garrett from a transit bus at 10# made me 610whp.
If I cranked this thing up to 20+lbs I would think I would be well north of 850whp.

Man that sucks. I have to agree with skinnies though, what i have been reading seems like these new 80mm turbos arent really cutting it. It seems to me like the car was working better with the gt45. I may be wrong though. Hope it works out for you. I'll be still watching for another update.

I really don't mean to imply that this is the cause of the problems, but I am curious at what point you stopped injecting any water in your mixture relative to when the ring lands started breaking?
Do you have an otoscope (thing doctors look in ears with) so you can really look deeply down into your plugs for traces of detonation? I've found those suckers to be ridiculously helpful, and you can get them cheap on eBay. Seems like the last one I got was a Dr. Mom brand or something... Cheap, compact, and worked great.

You are solidly in the 9's. Toss on the better gaskets...and focus on making you present combination bullet proof...that is unless you are secretly eyeing the 8's. If so...carry on.
