i did buy the truck tonight,
man this thing is great,
supports 3 bar speed density upgrade stock

couldnt have bought something better to work on for fun...

it has 211k miles on it! gunna transgoHD2 kit the 80e and get a circle D converter and twin gt35's and see how it does!

Congrats on the new project matt.Ive been wanting to turbo my 4x4 chevy truck for awhile they make good sleepers. I will as soon as i get this Fairmont cranked and running. I already built a single turbo kit bout a year ago for my truck just gotta install it.And mega squirt it.

Have you set a goal for it yet Matt also are you just goin use Hp tuners on this one?

i would like to see more power than the fairmont, thats my only goal...

yeah the truck supports the 3bar speed density OS upgrade and it controls the 80e and spark, iac, everything, so it will be a nice change of pace to do something relatively easy!

ill take pics of her tomorrow and start another topic,
i have turbos and a circle D converter and lots of **** on the way in the mail already

Anymore info on those turbos? I mean where they are sold and the specs? Just a smaller gt45?

t4 .68 AR 3 inch Vband downpipe
61mm/82mm wheels on the compressor

i had a similar sized turbo, a turbonetics 60-1 on the ventura and alone it did 400whp on a 4.8 with the stock cam, so two of them should really rock out

yeah its just some small twins my friend had, i was going to get them from VS but i ended up picking them up from him since he cant do anything with them.

I asked because there's one for sale in Perthamboy lol. 6.0 2wd reg cab. Asking $4500obo. if i wasn't already involved in a project i would scoop it up.

yeah i got this for 2500 bux, wich i think is a pretty good deal considering the stock ecu takes the 3bar update, it has the 80e i need, good rear, good frame, crank windows, AC, everything works, i am pretty happy with it...

big truck frame should put down power pretty good too.

easy to drop the tank and install pumps also. ill get pictures of her today, haha
