Any more info on the injectors? Not sure I will get more out of this intake compared to my current edelbrock but really like the look. My injectors are from precision turbo, they are 95 lb 1000 cc. Will they work?

Did I miss if you made it fit with the hood or what hood did you go with?

Only hoods that will fit are the VFN 4" and 5", and the Joe Van O Hood (heard it's hard to get in contact with him though and it takes months to get a hood from him, plus freight from Canada isn't cheap).

I think I'm going to take a stock WS6 hood to a body shop and have them cut and raise it a few inches. I think it'd look better than the VFN hoods.

Im in the same boat. Have a VFN bolt-on WS6 hood, and am going to run the hi ram. Im positive that its going to hit my hood so i will have to put a bubble in it for clearence. When i get to the point where im fitting the hood i can take measurements and pictures to show you all what exactly needs to happen to fit the intake onto the car with a stock sized hood.

I used the VFN 5 inch sloped hood. Fit it perfect. I have about a quarter inch from the top of the intake to the hood. I plan on atting a little rubber tab under the hood so the intake will support it some. Keep in mind my setup is solid motor mounts.

I did have to trim the cowl all the way to the windshield. I did not cut the windshield any. I have enough room from the windshield to the manifold to just let the throttle cable pass. When I cut the cowling it opend up the steel box of the iner dash. I then built a custom coil rail that holds all 8 coils and mounted them in the dash and ran custom length plug wires. SO now the coils are out of sight.

I will try and post some pics. My laptop crashed and I lost the ones I had on here.

Not sure if you guys have seen this yet on yellowbullet. Looks like someone is trying to come out with a built in a2w between the top and bottom.

Yup, good stuff. They already have folks trying to pre-order and it is not even done or tested, lol.

Dudes, stop trying to squeeze this giant intake under the hoods of your vettes/camaro's. HERE is what you need, it's the new Holley mini-ram intake based off the Hi-Ram, only with shorter runners. Check it out.

So is the general consensus that the cathedral port version WILL NOT fit an fbody like an ls3 version would after cutting and everything?

It would fit if you cut the windshield. Cathedral versions are 1/4" taller than LS3 versions. Mine (LS3) sits REALLY close the windshield probably like a 1/8" or less.

For a boosted setup, The Hi Ram is the way to go, Much more runner volume then the mini ram.

I got 25 Cathedral Hi Rams in stock if anyone needs

I think the mini looks like crap compared to the hi-ram and from what I've heard I'm banking on the gains in performance for the hi-ram. Can't wait!
