Looks great. How is the clearance with the torque arm bushing/mount and the trans mount? They look to be really close in this picture.....

I've read on here that everyone who uses the BMR torque arm relocation bracket has had to screw with the mounting holes. BMR claimed they 'fixed' the fitment issues. Who knows. I'm more than likely going to run the MWC short torque arm setup and the MWC trans crossmember in chrome moly.

Let me know if that Aster bracket goes on without any issues. I cant get it to line up and it already shredded two $45 belts, sucks!!! Ive been trying to get a hold of Aster but he's know where to be found.. I dont want to have to buy a gates laser alignment tool.. Ugh

its not quite as tight as the pic makes it look. I considered grinding the ears off the trans mount bracket but i dont see it as an issue.

At the time I called MWC they said they did not offer a crossmember for stock length torque arms. I think they do now, or just told me wrong from the get go. Either way, allz I had to do was jiggle the *** of the trans and use a punch to move it where i wanted it to go.

Congrats on the progress.... I took my car out for a spin today and still love it more and more every time I drive it. Procharged cars are so much fun, sound great, have great linear power, and are bullet proof for the most part.

Enjoy it.

true. i keep running into small things like the starter. now that is done and im trying to get injector pulse out of the damn thing. it will fire on the starter fluid. things like that keep pushing me back. the time to search the harness, and research possible causes.

I hate you are having any type of troubles. My build has been nothing but trouble. So much, at times it seems like someone upstairs is trying to tell me something. I have 95% of my parts here. Just a few things is standing in the way.

i dont really consider it trouble. its just part of it. if getting the injector to pulse is the only problem i have after all the swaps and the thing being in pieces for almost 2 years, then id say i had a good run up till this point. i think whatever it is will need to be taken care of in the tune. getting ahold of someone at vengeance is like getting in the vault at Fort Knox. Not that it'd help i guess since I dont have HP tuners. Didnt plan on buying it until after I got the car cak, and mainly for data logging purposes and shift points and adjusting AFR if need be. I talked with James Short @ shortuning (whom i wish was closer to me) and he said that the BCM reads the ignition switch signal and relays that to the PCM which then pulses the injectors. being that my last tuner locked the PCM and vengeance could not get into it I bought another one, and had it sent. I hear tell, that GM uses 15 different resistances with their keys. What I have to wonder is, if the BCM is the same, and tells the PCM to do its thing, and im using the same key I always have been, then is the VATS still capable of being the issue. The only way to know for sure is to bypass it. The key checks for 1130k so i will got to radio shack and get the resistors and pray it pulses. if not I guess i wont get to be the first person to start it up. Ill drop it off in atlanta and miss the first fireup, the tuning session, and basically everything....which makes me nervous because last time I missed the tuning session the ******* thing exploded and I never got to see that, nor drive it. I am liable to rent a hotel and camp out over there.

It sucks to hear your tuning troubles. Early on I got tired of being screwed over by tuners, especially that locking the pcm ****, that's why I bought HP tuners myself. Granted, I was only heads/cam at the time, but I learned how to tune myself and no longer have to be held hostage by tuners. Granted, they are some really good guys out there, but there's an equal amount of bad ones.

I did the same. Learned how to tune heads cam trex car, then moved to superchargers, now turbo. Being able to make changes when needed is nice, and has paid for itself many times. I have tuned other cars for people and made some money. I suggest to anyone with forced induction get it so they can data log and makes changes.

according to mike he is almos 100% he turned it off. he is going to look at the tune tomorrow and let me know for sure. if that is the case, i will check for the constant voltage. beyond that the computer (im told) controlls the pulse by using the ground.
