It was the first time pushing water since I put the TFS heads on. Wasn't their fault though. Ran out of fuel pump and pressure slightly nosed over right at the end of the run.

What Extreme trans is it??
Its a hodgepodge of parts with most of the hard parts from CK and VB from EA. I put it together with some tips and help from a local trans builder here. We love Byron. So nice and hospitable.

Just going to run it as is next year. Time to stop changing stuff. I think we have it pretty figured out and I'd like to just learn suspension tuning on different tracks. Ok...I'm lying, going to take some more weight off it this winter. Mostly stuff that doesn't cost money...firewall hips, behind the rear bumper, behind the rear seat, steering column, bumper brackets, door crash bars, maaaybe a cm cage.

Congrats man you got that car flying. Is that duplicolor low gloss black paint still holding up on the valve covers? I need something that won't flake off.

Thanks

Just read this whole thread. NICE!

Couple of questions, is this aluminum block filled? How is that A/W intercooler working? Inlet temps? Did you have a part number for that one?

Is the cam you ended up choosing (239/242) still the one in it? Great effort! Very nice job.

Love the blacked out engine bay!

Here is a vote for the sleeper aluminum rallys.

Very nice build, just finished reading entire thread. Congrats on 7 secs. Lots of inspiration from this for me as well for my 71 ss nova build beginning shortly after first of the year. I have to ask but what brand and style of an hose are you using such as radiator hose? Seems to be a crimp on style, are you pleased with them?

The block is not filled. A/W working very well. Around 30-40 degrees in iat rise during a max power 1/4 mile pass. Its a Frozen Boost type 22. It has a LilJohn stage 2 tt shelf cam in it now but something a little different will be going in over the winter. That cam did work well though. Its for sale...$200.

The radiator hose is a used Nascar piece purchased from Ebay for $30.

To much to read, lol, did you stay with the stock crank-when I did my rebuild, I kept the stock crank and gen 4 bushed rods, but added forged pistons-I kind of wished I had changed rods, but they looked so much more beefy than gen 3's, and I had added ARP bolts (shop ck'ed rod big end) I said what the heck, lol
