Default J/y 5.3 - tc76 vs pte 7675

OKAY, so I have a new victim that I want to flog this year.
I picked up a solid 200K mile 5.3;

Putting in the following this weekend
-MLS head gaskets
-ARP studs
-E85
-LS6 Cam
-PRC double springs
-Stock heads
-T56
-3.55 gears in a 3200 LB 69 Nova

I have two turbo options at this point and would like some opinions/thoughts:

TC76 .96 A/R F1 wheel or PTE Billet 7675 .81A/R

Do you think the .81 AR on the PTE will choke the motor?
I do want to test both turbos on the dyno and at the track but I want some input up front.

Looking to get 750 RWHP (on E85)
My fuel system should not have an issue supplying the power
(-8 line, two walbro's, might go A1000 and have 160LB injectors).

Car is my daily in the summer and it is more of a fun car then a drag car but I want to hit 9's and 700+ RWHP.

Can you not get a .96 ar 7675?

Personally even with the .81 AR I'd run the 7675 over the TC76. The TC76 has a 68mm turbine versus the 75mm turbine of the PTE.

FWIW you want to use the largest turbine wheel you can spool and the tightest AR that doesn't sacrifice top end power you can run.

FWIW again the 75mm turbine wheel isn't the largest you could run and still spool with the right cam and tune, but for your set-up with the mild cam you have it likely will work well with the .81 ar and 75mm wheel.

I normally don't like smaller turbo's like this because I am a believer of using cam timing and ignition timing to spool the turbo properly like it should and not by using a small turbine/turbo to help spool, but in this case again with the small LS6 cam run the 7675.

The precision unit is very nice. I would also go with the .96 a/r.

Well, I bought the turbo and it turned out to be a .81 A/R....it was not advertised properly.

So, I can use this housing for now and if I need to, I guess I can buy a new housing.
The car is mainly street and spooling fast will definitely be a plus!

The 76GTS isn't what you have. It's an older version of the 7675 PTE unit. Same specs, just different designation.

Well, 750 RWHP would make me feel good!
Just need to get the rest of the parts in to finish motor so I can pull the 4.8 out...or I could just see how the 4.8 likes the 7675???

Personally the 4.8 will match that turbo a lot better and will keep it in it's peak efficiency range longer making more overall power.

Hell I'd run it with the 4.8 as long as the 4.8 had the LS6 cam in it.

The 4.8 has a slight oil pressure issue...think the cam bearings are going out.
Oil pressure is bouncing up and down about 5 PSI...

The GTS turbine is the same turbine as the 75. PTE just changed the nomenclature.
