Default How are your cars idling with the Mototron 60's?

I installed a set of the Mototron 60's in a customers car.

At 1000rpm idle, injector pulsewidth is 1.86 and air fuel is 10.8-1.

So, has anyone got these injectors to idle clean with good fuel trims?

why isnt the car correcting to 14.7? closed loop or open?

ive never run these at a higher idle pressure than 52.. if you have the means thats an easy way to trim it down. i am guessing you cant change the f/p or have it manifold referenced?

The Buicks guys I talked to said they were running these down to about 1.6 and getting stable fueling. I am wondering what Mighty Mouse said- Open or Closed loop? What AFR is the PCM commanding? What are your LTFT's at idle?

Maybe this is coming down to the offset table. I posted some numbers in a post a week or two ago with all the characteristics. Maybe the offset table needs modifications?

I know a guy from Mototron. I'll send him an email and let you guys know if I hear back.

They will show up soon..... the only reason i recieved mine first is that i ordered them before you guys did..... im the one who told Nate the price was going up and had him see if he could get a better price for all of us before they went up.....

I would like to know more info on these also........ I plan on starting up my new motor with these before the blower is on and hope to be able to get it to idle correctly......

I hope these things are easy to tune, I have mine on order and they should be here soon. The entire reason I went with them is because everyone was saying that they worked great with the stock injector offset table.

I'm running 75#, idle sounds fine, not any rougher than with the 42#. Ratios were tuned 'on the money' but it needs more work.

Blue, glad to hear that the 75's are idling well. I just bought a set from Andy G. and will be installing them when I put my 422 in.

FWIW, it took hints from Andy G. to get it tuned, I called him on the weekends and handed the phone to the tuner of the weekend. TeamZR-1 had some trouble, and couldn't get it right with 6 Ease runs and tunes. I brought it to Nick N. and he corrected the tune. Andy G. told Nick N. pulse width was too wide because the fuel cells were for the 42s, the PCM thought it should set pulse width for smaller injectors at PE and WOT. Max pulse width is around 21ms, and my motor was flooded with 18ms. Fuel cells were adjusted from 4-5 across the board to 8, though Andy recommended 9.3.

I know nothing about tuning and my memory is flaky so this may not be completely accurate.
