Default Tired of running so slow.

I am tired of running so slow. Giving procharged Camaros everywhere a bad name. I decided to put some money in the car and try to beat my 13 second runs. I am installing in the next few weeks some 317 heads milled 3 hundreds with TSP springs, TSP 7.400 hardend pushrods, MLS headgaskets, Brute Speed blower cam, LS2 timing chain. Going to a Speed density tune. One question I still have is should I buy ARP head studs or get the Pro Comp head studs. If I get the Pro Comp I can afford a meth kit. If I get the ARP then I cant get the meth kit. Car is a street car and hoping to last on this setup until next winter when I get a built 408. What would you guys do?

I have have a slip on me right now. On about 10 psi I ran a 13.01 at 113 mph. 2.15 sixty foot. I was using Nitto 555r 17 on stock ZR1s wheels. After this mods I dont see much of an improvement then the M6 is coming out.

What do you have for suspension? If it's stock try getting some decent shocks, LCA with Relo brackets, torque arm and panhard bar. Power doesn't matter if you can't put it down.

Ditto. Car is not making any power.

Car isn't making any power hence the mph. Spending your time worrying about suspension right now will yield minimal gains compared to finding out the real problem.

Car dyno was 510 and 498 on 10 psi. Car weight was 3680 with me in it. I have AGX shocks, front is stiff as you can get and the rears are in the softest setting. Eibach lowering springs. I know the shocks and springs aren't the best but I still can't believe I am only seeing 113 mph. I have a AFR gauge and the tune doesn't seem to bad. I see about 11.1 while it's pulling. I have 60lb injectors with twin pumps.

I dont understand this comment. If the pulley combo dosent equal what he is getting I could see that, but, no reference to pullie combos has been made. Granted, most 10 psi combos are faster than 113mph 1/4 mile. If thats what you were referring to, I agree.

No the clutch is holding up fine. It's got a LM performance clutch. I have double and triple checked all the clamps. The only thing that worries me is that the hat is pressed against the fan shroud. It might be causing a shitty seal.

not to be offensive but that has to be driver error. the only reason i would say that is because you are actually thinking of removing the 6-speed because the car is performing bad. the prob is NOT the 6-speed. 500 whp is wicked fun but adding more hp at this point is not going to fix what ever the issue is

You need to stiffen the rear shocks and loosen the front

I meant to say that i have the rear stiff and the front soft. Yeah I know that I am no Juice with a M6 but I am not bad either. This car is a street car, I go to the track once or twice a year. I already bought the parts just have to get some time to put them on. Go Pro videos will be posted.
