Default Any 4th Gen Maggies still out there?

As the title says anyone still running around with a Maggie on their 4th Gen? I know Lmspeed has been gone for awhile but Hawks is still selling a kit. This is something that has always intrigued me but everyone says go Procharger, spacing the k-member is a bad idea, not worth it for only 5xx rwhp etc..

i had one on my g8 and i dont think it was worth it.

i wanted more power for the money, it was an amazing kit, and it bolted right on and it was complete, and worked great, but not enough power

Putting on a MP112 is like putting in an ls6 cam. Spend lots of money and go through all the work for a limited return on your investment. Sure, everyone is going to say how great the low end torque is, but roasting the tires all the time gets old when people with normal h/c setups walk pass you.

Here is my Z with a 112 3.1 pully 9 pounds of boost 470 HP 490 TQ. Going to be installing ls9 cam soon hope to get her over 500HP and TQ. I have repined the wiring harness for a 01 ECM.

I'm still running mine.

It looks a little different now. This is an older pic. Everything is much more cleaned up but it's still live and well.

I dont have any problems. I wouldn't waste my time with the magnavolt again though. Wish I would have just gone with larger pump and injectors in the first place.

My next mod will be meth and a retune.

Some day I will manage to stuff an ls3 with a tvs2300 on it in my car and retain the wipers. Just haven't aquired the funds yet.

Yes I would do it again. I have yet to ride in a procharged car let alone even hear one. I love the way mine looks, runs, and sounds, but given a little time with a procharged car and I might be convinced otherwise. I know their installs are simpler, cheaper, more supported by the aftermarket and of course far more powerful when you want to increase it. So, I can see the other side of the argument very clearly but I am still pleased with what I have.

If i had a maggie, I would compound boost it with a huge turbo. But that's just me.

I've seen that done on diesel engines for years. I think it's a great idea.
