As the title says...street/strip guys at or near the 1000rwhp mark what flexplate are you using? Stock gm, regular 29.1 spec (b&m or tci) or something like a billet steel CSR or billet aluminum Circle-D flexplate? I'm trying to spend the least amount of money to get the job done reliably. I don't mind paying for the CSR or Circle-D, but why pay that when something else will get the job done? I've done a little searching and couldn't find anything other than Circle-D comparing the weight, thickness and price of theirs to others (no real world feedback/comparisons). Thanks ahead of time!

This flexplate works with any trans except 4l80e, unless you have custom built converter. I am running a 4l80e trans with a Circle D converter built to work with this flexplate. Hope this helps

Thanks guys! I think i have a idea of what i'm gonna need. I think i'm gonna go with this one .
http://www.circledspecialties.com/p-...lex-plate.aspx
It's around the same price as the hughes ($150)and not as expensive as the tci ($250) or the csr billet ($300+) or circle-d billet ($300+). I will obviously contact circle-d before ordering just to make sure it is up to par. If not, i'll go with the hughes or tci.
