If you dont change it. Ill be surprised if you get 14 degrees in it.

The reality of it is..we put the static in it so we can run the big cams to get the cylinder filled as much as possible and still create a ton of cylinder pressure.

High compression with a small cam that has no overlap is gonna make for a overly sensitive motor on the tuneup.

Any cam suggestions that don't cost the usual 400 my buddy has a ms3 for cheap and stock ls1 and a stock ls6 cam?

I would run something bigger then 100lb injectors. I was on E85 on my 5.3l (317 heads), aeromotive 340lph stealth (badass and quiet) and 18 psi at 19 degrees of timing and with 120lb lucas injectors I was already at 78% duty cycle@ 58psi fuel pressure.

However I NEVER saw knock. I took timing to 21 degrees and leaned it out to 12.5:1 AFR and no knock and one point it went to 13.2:1 AFR and still logs showed no knock. Car pulled sooo hard I felt like my ***** went back in my gut.

Now im on pump gas with 14psi @ 21 degrees of timing at 11.2:1 AFR and no signs of knock. However I have other kinks to finish.

I think with E85 at 12psi from a 76mm you will net 600whp easy, I dont know that much about valve events but I know Liljohn knows what he's talking about. Is this 370ci block?

John makes a good point I overlooked the LS9 cam, I hate that cam
Im not that concerned with the dynamic, but get some cam in it! BTW a 70mm on your setup would likely not even make 16#, you shold be well over 600whp at 10# or less.

Well I am not trying to spend a **** ton of money on this setup since it wont probably last too long , so if I spend 400 on a cam ill just buy my nitrous cam and spray it with the 200

PM Automagic LS1...

He just pulled an older MTI R1 out of his motor thats 232/236 114+4 iirc.

Itd be a good one to use since youre building this as a throw away type motor.

Prolly get it for half the price of new.

What turbo are you looking to run?

BAKED on here is one of the nitrous turned FI guys on here. He has a 11.5:1 346 that he was hitting with a decent shot and just put a turbo setup on it and runs E85. Its making stupid power on minimal boost too.

A single mpt70 isnt gonna cut it. Turbine is too small.

Now a pair of them......

I wouldnt call 25 psi "minimal boost".

Considering guys run stock 5.3's and 6.0's on 20 psi I would consider 25 minimal in my book.

I have an OFI hotside I can sell you for 2300. Its all stainless for a T6 and has never been used. Downpipe can be used with a stock k-member from what I'm told. I can get pics if you are interested.
