haha Thanks guys.
Been busy helping my best friend move into his new house, but I did manage to get a bit done tonight.
Ran some short A-pillar bars up to the dash bar, which I made of 1-5/8 and tied into the OEM A-pillar. Then for extra rigidity Im putting little X's in the doors.
I think this design is a good compromise for my little streetcar.
Tomorrow, I have to finish the drivers side door X and figure out how Im going to do my front frame rails.
I got most of the parts I ordered. I am just waiting on the tubing.. Im pretty much stuck until I get that.

Its funny, when I started my first build on this car, like 5 years ago. White lightning told me this...
and I really took that to heart, I literally dont even flinch at the most insane chassis mods anymore. haha

Just be careful when putting things back together. Measure everything 10x to make sure things are straight. And make those welds count- no failures.

Probably, but still no changes that would keep it from being DD-able... Sure most people think Im crazy, and they're probably right.
This will make it super easy to work on. I really hate out engine bays... so problem solved.
My future plans will leave this car as my "small tire grudge car".
Then I want to build a ~500whp turbo T/A, everything bone stock, T56, A/C, no chassis mods. Which will take over DD duty.
Then I will get to work building my big tire car.
haha, This year I plan to spend a lot of time at the track(Ive never ran at the track). so next year, I hope to get a feel for what class I'd like to build a car for.

Yeah we need updates!! You were the final bit of inspiration I needed to start chopping more on my car (and other things). After asking you about your tools/toys a while ago I've finally acquired a tig welder, mig welder, and a tube bender... ***** about to get real
