10.1 solid roller LME built LSX 427 built for twins 76 mm turbos. It made big power on the engine alone so i cant wait to pour the boost to it...

Not totally sure yet but I think my cr will be higher than that and the builder/ tuner says won't be an issue on e85.

I think I remember reading a thread on here about this. If I remember right, the consensus was with E85, the sky is pretty much the limit. Some guys were running 12:1. Most of these cars were around 900+whp.

I don't think they are running 12.1 with E85. At least not the majority. I would think anything in the 10 range would be fine, even low 11's.

You should be fine. Next year I plan to put the pistons out of a 4.8 in my 5.3 and that should give me around 11.5 to 1. I am willing to try it and tune for it so my car will have more power out of boost but that may be pushing the CR a little.

Isn't 10.1:1 the stock LS1 compression ratio? I'm sure there's plenty of F/I people running that on E85

I am running around 9:3-9:5 ish. (different calculators come up with different answers)

Reason being my car sees time on the street and E85 is not available everywhere. I will have dual tunes. I will be running 93 on trips and put the e85 in on race nights.

ran 10.1 on my stock bottom. E85 is what kept it alive and made it run it hard!

IMO, for us 4 bolt heads guys atleast, I think it's easier to keep the heads on with boost generated cylinder pressure vs compression generated. I think spreading it over the larger area helps. But I will say that I have no data to prove this.

Definitely not the majority, but they are out there. Most are more track oriented than street though.
