Because yours is the AC kit. It uses a different manifold.

Oh. Well, that makes sense. Lol. I like to have ac. It's stock I think that whistle noise is the muffler bearings. Or maybe alternator or something
Also, is painting the intercooler okay? I want to be stealth. I don't like a lot of attention and people asking questions like what's under the hood etc.

Also, about what RPM will I have full boost? Motor is 10:1 and using e85.

I would say we are golden with out the pump! Over 400 miles of ABUSE and no issues yet so should be good. If there was going to be an issue I would say it would have shown up by now.

My car is not used for cornering so I always remove my front sway bars and have not installed one on a sway bar car yet (not many corner guys around here) so I cant say if it will clear it or not.

I was hoping to push 20lbs, but at 10lbs it seems that traction is a major issue. Thoughts on 20lbs with the standard intercooler? The motor has 317 heads, stock ls1 block with wiseco forged pistons and eagle rods. Stock crank. I also have stock rearend stock suspension and stock t56. (That's right! t56!)
Extras I have bought: I have a 255lph pump, an aero 2000 external pump, an adjustable fuel regulator, HUGE fuel rails, FIC 1000cc injectors.. Mightym0use catch can, turbosmart manual boost controller. I didn't want any gauges so I bought a dashdaq from zeitronix with wideband and boost reference. What plugs are you running?

People thinking of buying this kit... Costs add up quick. Don't think you buy the kit and are good.. I have tons of money wrapped up in mine, but I'm hoping for 700rwhp at 20lbs. More would be a bonus. The motor alone should be 400 so i figure 700 should be fairly attainable. I also had a custom cam spec'd by Martin @ Ticks Performance.
Other than obvious fuel upgrades such as injectors, pump, and regulator the only real necesary thing you need is the pusher fans so no real reason for budgets to explode or snowball. If anything this kits savings over competetors that have "just as complete" kits help the budget. lol]
yes 10 psi definatley brings traction issues especially on stock suspension I would have definately went with the 4" intercooler if you were looking for the much power, That rear will probably die really soon behind a t56 lol, you are going to need suspension bad... I doubt 700 will be a problem at 20psi, in fact I would imagine it will be a higher than that.
I use ngk br7es plugs gapped at .28 (same plugs a lot of the nitrous guys run).

So is it going to be bad using the intercooler that comes with it? Should I call them in the morning and get the bigger one?
Also, do you have anymore vids? I just searched your facebook page up and down and only saw one. I'm super interested and getting excited, my car should be done within a few weeks!

No way to make a turbo stealthy lol anyone who knows anything is gonna know its boosted, better off playing the angle that its a stock motor on low boost lol.
Painting the intercooler is fine and is done all the time just dont gunk it up nice light coats.
hard to say when yours will spool but it happens QUICK! and mine is only a little 5.3 pushing the 76 so I'm sure yours will be even sooner.
once again start saving money for a rear and suspension and obviously a clutch if that hasnt been upgraded. the t56 will probably be next on the list lol

I would definately see if you could swap them out or at least get a 4" from somewhere Lot of power to ask from a 3" but thats just my opinion. I will be posting more videos soon

I've got the money to do it i'm just not sure what to get. I did buy a mccleod rxt twin disc clutch. RPM said 1630 to level 5 with a 30 spline shaft. Seems too cheap? Which rearend should I get? I want it to be bulletproof and bolt-in-ready. What gear are you running?

i have the on3 kit without ac, maybe im doing something wrong, but the alternator is an inch off from lining up with water pump pulley, its a 5.3 with stock accessories.. i wouldn't think the alternator from the 5.7 would be any diff?
